The Pentagon Sauna design was born right here in our Winnipeg workshop from one simple question:
How can we build a sauna that's more efficient, more comfortable, and better suited for Canadian winters?
Our journey started with a traditional barrel sauna — one of our very first builds. We loved the concept, but we saw room for improvement.
So we went back to the drawing board.
We reimagined the shape, eliminating unnecessary space while maintaining a spacious, comfortable interior.
We insulated every wall, creating a sauna that retains heat more effectively, heats efficiently, and performs exceptionally well during Manitoba's harsh winters.
But one of our favourite features happened to come naturally from the design itself.
The angled walls create a built-in backrest, allowing you to sit back, relax, and enjoy your sauna experience without needing additional back supports.
The result?
- 01Better heat retention
- 02Fully insulated construction
- 03Natural ergonomic back support
- 04Improved heating efficiency
- 05Built for Canadian winters
- 06A unique design that stands out

One tier with two benches, one along each side. A window facing your view, and cedar all the way up to the peak. The angled walls behind the benches work as a built-in backrest.

One shape, your options
Heat
Our wood-fired AR Heater, loaded from outside so the room stays clean. Or an electric HUUM or Harvia heater with WiFi control, so the sauna is hot when you get home.
Door & glass
A tempered glass door in Gray or Bronze tint, 27" × 75" or 27" × 83", or a solid cedar door for a darker, quieter room. Add a rear window facing the lake or the trees.
Exterior
Natural cedar that turns silver-grey over time, black-stained cedar, black LP siding, or a charcoal steel roof to match your house.
Inside
Clear or knotty cedar, warm LED lighting under the benches, backrests, a small changing porch. Bucket, ladle and thermometer included.
