The questions we get asked in the showroom

It depends on the size (more room means more cedar and more heater), the wood (clear cedar costs more than knotty but resists heat and smells the way a sauna should), the insulation (important, especially with an electric heater), the heater itself, and where it is going. We price every build individually and give you one fixed number before we start. Use the configurator or call us for a quote.

Wood-fired is the traditional experience: a softer heat, no wiring, and it works at the cabin. Our AR Heater is loaded from outside so the room stays clean. Electric is convenient: a HUUM or Harvia heater with WiFi control is hot by the time you get home, and it needs no chimney. Many families choose electric for the city and wood for the lake. You can try both in the showroom.

Most Pentagon and Barrel saunas are built and delivered within a few weeks of the deposit, depending on the season. Custom builds take longer because of the design work. We will give you an honest timeline with the quote and keep you posted.

A level base that can carry the weight. We can prepare it for you with screw piles, a packed base, pavers or a concrete pad. For electric heaters, an electrician runs a dedicated circuit to the sauna. For wood-fired, we plan the chimney clearances with you. We will walk the site before the build and tell you exactly what is needed.

It depends on the size of the sauna and your municipality. Many backyard saunas fall under the small accessory building rules, but some do not. We will tell you what applies where you live and help with drawings if a permit is needed.

Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We also deliver to cottage country in Manitoba. For anything farther, ask and we will quote the trip.

By forklift or crane, depending on access to the spot. If a finished sauna cannot reach it, we build it on site.

Yes. A basement or garage sauna is a custom build like any other, usually with an electric heater. Start with the configurator and choose Custom.

Call or text 204-332-1848 with your dates and address. One night is $250, two nights $350, three nights $450, a week $750 and a month $2,500. Delivery, setup and the first evening of firewood are included.

A six-foot cedar barrel with a wood-burning stove, a ladle and bucket, firewood for three or more hours, and instructions for running the stove. The sauna is cleaned after every rental.

Anywhere we can back a trailer: a driveway, a lane, a level spot in the yard. It does not need power or water.
