Why we built our own
After many years in the sauna business, we learned what truly matters: clean heat, lasting performance, and an authentic sauna experience.
Through hands-on experience and continuous refinement, we developed what we believe is the perfect sauna heater. The AR Heater is an external-feed wood-burning heater designed with both comfort and practicality in mind. Because the firewood is fed from outside the sauna room, you never bring dirt, ash or debris inside. Your sauna stays clean, pure and easy to maintain.
Even more importantly, the fire draws its oxygen from outside. The air inside stays fresh and oxygen-rich, so a long session never gets that heavy, stuffy feeling. And with its large stone capacity the AR Heater delivers powerful, even heat: the stone mass stores and radiates warmth, producing soft, consistent steam and holding temperature longer with less wood.

What makes the AR Heater different
- 01External feed
Load the wood from outside the sauna room. No bark on the floor, no ash on the benches, no opening the door during a session.
- 02Fresh air, always
The firebox draws its combustion air from outside, so it never uses the oxygen in the sauna room.
- 03Big stone mass
A tall stainless steel cage holds a large load of stones. The stones store the heat and release it slowly, so the steam is soft and the room stays hot between loads of wood.
- 04Built here
Designed in our shop after years of building saunas. It is the heater we install in our own Pentagon saunas.
